Blessings from Bangkok! I go by Kolby Koczanowski. I'm a second year graduate equivalency student at the University of Kansas. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Central Missouri, and grew up in Overland Park, KS. Before my time in Kansas, my family and I lived in Frankfurt, Germany, which happens to be the last time I was out of the US. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to be overseas traveling and practicing music therapy with Dr. Register and this amazing group of students, both Thai and American. My passion for music therapy has always been strong, but my time at KU has helped me grow tremendously in my knowledge and understanding of our field. This trip so far as opened my mind and heart up to many new ideas, beliefs, and experiences. As I continue to grow I look forward to sharing what I learn.
